An illustration that the angry voices shouting that “Taxation is Theft” or “The Goverment Does Nothing for the People” are often just that, voices. In a town of 10,000, on the issue of funding for our aging and degrading sewer system, our fire department and our swimming pool, the issue was decided by 546 people. Glad at the results, but a bit disheartened, but not surprised, by the indifference.
